Jan Tamsin (she/her) is an emerging author living in the Washington, D.C. metro area. Over the past ten years, she has dedicated her life to public health initiatives and promoting the voices of underrepresented communities in clinical and observational research. She received her Master of Public Health degree from King’s College London and originally hails from the Pacific Northwest.

An avid reader, Tamsin loves twisty, plot-driven novels set in speculative worlds, as well as accessible literary or contemporary fiction with deeper emotional themes. She strives to bring the best of both into her own writing, telling stories of how we experience and survive trauma through the lenses of science fiction, fantasy, and horror.
